Singita Serengeti House
Singita Serengeti House is located in the western part of the Serengeti in the private Grumeti Game Reserve. The house accommodates 8 guests, with 2 spacious suites located in the main house and 2 additional garden suites – one set to each side of the house in separate buildings – all featuring private outdoor showers and terraces. In addition, the main house comprises large dining and lounge areas, ample decked areas with day beds, a 25m swimming pool and a private tennis court. Whilst maintaining a homely and luxurious feel, Serengeti House uniquely manages to offer this alongside a real feeling of individual privacy for all guests in the house.
Alongside its big brother Sasakwa (although Serengeti House does have a very unique charm), it really is the pinnacle of luxury within the Grumeti Reserve and therefore Tanzania.
Positioned on the lower slopes of Sasakwa Hill and with the wide Serengeti plains spreading out before it, Serengeti House is an exclusive-use retreat, idyllically located within easy sight of a watering hole. As with all of the Grumeti properties, a fantastic experience is offered year round, but Great Migration thrill seekers should focus on staying here in June and early July for the perfect Tanzania safari. The food, service and guiding are absolutely second to none. Activities on offer include game driving, walking safari, night driving and even horse riding safaris if you are of a good riding standard.
