Elewana Migration Camp
The Elewana Migration Camp is located in the rocky outcrops of north central Serengeti National Park best accessed by light aircraft from Lobo Airstrip which has schedule flights daily from Arusha. It is also possible to stay at Migration Camp as park of the ‘sky safari package’.
Twenty lavish and spacious tents on wooden decks with either king or twin beds, comfortable leather armchairs, coffee and writing tables. The tents all have their own en-suite with showers and double vanities, surrounded by a verandah with rocking chairs. The main area of the lodge is very comfortable with large leather chairs and views onto the Serengeti. There is a swimming pool and the lodge is child friendly. The best time to visit Migration Camp is July time when the migration herds are pushing up to the North of the Serengeti. It is also possible to sometimes see the herds pushing south in November.
