Kuria Hills

Even though it is the new camp in the area, Lemala’s Kuria Hills have established themselves since 2013 as a very competitive luxury brand in the Northern Serengeti.

This permanent lodge boasts bedrooms with floor to ceiling glass fronts that lead onto a private deck. Each room also comes equipped with a private plunge pool to help one cool off in the hot summer days. The bathrooms are appointed to a very high standard, making the feeling more suited to the luxury crowd and a little off the authentic safari feel.

The camp is perfectly set to take advantage of the remarkable surrounding views of the Serengeti. The majority of rooms having a rare and remarkable view specially the amazing Serengeti sunset. With the Mara River a half an hour game drive away, river crossings can be expected from mid-July to mid-November. During this season, drives are taken in modern Land Cruisers that have the security of the roof but are not closed-sided.

The Lodge does not have the understated style of more traditional camps but provides a comfortable experience for everyone – the size of rooms, bathrooms, infinity pools and G&T’s admiring the sunset is the quintessence of luxury at an affordable price.
