Porini Mara Camp
Porini Mara Camp is a non-seasonal safari camp set in Ol Kinyei Conservancy – an 18,700 acre wilderness founded by Porini Mara’s owner and set aside as a wildlife sanctuary with a wide variety of species including the big cats. The area has open plains, forests, rivers and stunning views. It is the first tented camp in the Mara region to be run with support from the local community. This setting provides the ultimate safari adventure in an unspoilt area, away from the crowds. Game drives can also be taken in the nearby Maasai Mara National Reserve and the adjacent Naboisho Conservancy.
The award-winning camp is located in a unique and beautiful setting under yellow-barked Acacia trees along the banks of the Laetoli. The camp contains just 6 tents but these are spacious and has an exclusive yet friendly feel, with each tent containing comfortable furnishings and ensuite facilities (with hot shower and flush toilet). The camp Chef uses fresh ingredients to prepare high quality meals and even fresh bread baked at the camp.
