Serra Cafema Camp
On the banks of the Kunene River, the remote and tranquil Serra Cafema Camp is hidden within the enormous Hartmann Valley. It overlooks the rapids of the river while surrounded by the Namib desert.
Located on the farthest north of Namibia and on the border with Angola, Serra Cafema Camp is truly one pf the finest lodges in all of safari Africa. It offers 10 luxurious canvas and thatched villas in a beautiful setting while providing guests game drives, walking trips and riverboat safaris. Each villa are huge with large private lounge areas, mosquito net draped beds, indoor and outdoor showers and large decks complete with sunbeds.
Approximately 250 kilometres from the closest village, this camp is in the middle of nowhere – a no-man’s-land where nomadic tribes live off one of the most arid landscapes on the planet.
The lodge itself is very well built and regarded as the flagship of Wilderness Safari’s operations in Namibia. Having this level of luxury and comfort in an area as remotes as this, is a feat in itself – as this area is truly remote.
