Beho Beho

Beho Beho has been blessed with one of the most sublime views in the Selous game reserve.  It provides its guests with every luxury and more, whilst over looking a huge area of true wilderness. The lodge consists of 9 stone bandas that are not left wanting in terms of providing their guests with every comfort possible. The food, guiding and service are all of the very highest standard.

Nestled up in the Beho Beho hills, this spectacular safari lodge is about a one hour drive from Lake Tagalala and its famous hot springs. The lodge has its own airstrip, which means that it’s a tiny journey to camp for guests arriving from Dar es Salaam.

The 9 bandas are more than capable of housing a small group or equally provide a couple with ample amounts of room to sit back and enjoy great views. They are beautifully furnished, with every comfort being taken into consideration. The new private house, ‘Bailey’s Banda’, houses every earthly delight possible and gives you a very private experience – private dining, private plunge pool.  As impressive as these luxuries are, nothing can compete with the jaw dropping view of the valley floor and its inhabitants.  Beho Beho is a great choice for a Tanzania Honeymoon.

A swimming pool caters for those who fancy an easy day relaxing in the sun and a watering hole caters for any thirsty animal willing to come put themselves on show. This mainly happens at supper time, which can be taken in numerous positions throughout the lodge. They also have a beautiful treehouse with spectacular views where one can opt to spend a night during their stay.

The guiding at Beho Beho is superb and there are fantastic areas to take amazing walks in the reserve.  The terrain is really impressive and so is the game. It’s the perfect way to build up an appetite for what are very impressive meal times.  The best food out of any Selous Safari Lodge. The full size snooker table gives guests the opportunity to challenge the guides after supper and discuss the day’s adventures.
